Meet Your Instructor

Around the age of 12, Kyle began his musical journey by learning the guitar; discovering the beautiful sounds it could make just by the strum of a chord or the pluck of a string. He was so drawn to the instrument that he took lessons for over a year at a local music store. There he learned many of the basics, but still lacked the knowledge he was looking for to create the sounds that inspired him to play.

By 2009, Kyle had achieved much of that knowledge and saw a need to share it with students looking to begin their own journey. However, to insure his students’ experience was better than his own, Kyle tailored each lesson specific to the student. As a result, students can’t wait to share what they’ve learned with their friends and family!

  • How to clean and restring the guitar

  • Learn the musical alphabet

  • Learn proper techniques in both hands

  • Learn how to read and write music

  • Learn notes, chords, rhythms, and scales

 

Intermediate

  • Learn major and minor scales in every key

  • Learn how to improvise using scales

  • Learn 4-part chords and how to use them

  • Learn how to use a capo and transpose

  • Learn skills to perform on stage

  • Create your own original songs and solos

 

Advanced

  • Learn 3 and 4-part chord inversions

  • Learn how to use chord extensions

  • Learn modes in every major and minor key

  • Compose complex original arrangements

  • Record and perform original songs
